The American University of Europe FON is a private, non profit higher education and scientific institution founded in 2003 as the Faculty of Social Sciences by Mr. Fiat Canoski, M.Sc. In 2007, it expanded into new academic fields and became the First Private University FON, later establishing departments in Strumica, Gostivar, and Struga.

In 2020, the university was rebranded as the American University of Europe FON, reflecting its focus on international trends and modern higher education. Over the years, it has continuously invested in education, research, innovation, and academic development.
